Rex and Helen Patterson : Directors

The principals of Patterson Real Estate are Rex & Helen Patterson who are both long term locals of over 30 years. Rex Patterson is the licensee, commencing his real estate career back in 1985. After 10 years working in the industry for three different franchise offices the opportunity arose to open an independant agency in the Lighthouse Beach area of Port Macquarie.

Helen Patterson is a true blue local being born in nearby Wauchope and living almost all her life in Port Macquarie. Her parents were Charles and Jean Huxley who grew tomatoes, peas and watermelons on a picturesque 30 acre block on what is now the southern slopes of the Transit Hill subdivision.

The Real Estate agency commenced trading in February 1995 at the Lighthouse Beach Shopping Centre and was originally known as Tacking Point Real Estate.  As a result of demand for an “in town presence” a second office was opened in the heart of the downtown shopping precinct in September 1999.
