Patterson Real Estate is an independent real estate agency located in the heart of Port Macquarie Central Business District.

The principals are Rex & Helen Patterson who are both long term locals of over 30 years. Rex Patterson is the licensee, commencing his real estate career back in 1985.

The agency commenced trading in February 1995 at the Lighthouse Beach Shopping Centre and was originally known as Tacking Point Real Estate.  As a result of demand for an “in town presence” a second office was opened in the heart of the downtown shopping precinct in September 1999.

With the majority of enquiry coming through the main street location, the Lighthouse Beach office was closed in 2001 and all staff relocated to the in town office.  The business name was then personalised to Patterson Real Estate to capitalise on the principal’s strong local reputation and to move away from the perception of the agency only listing and selling in the Lighthouse Beach area.

Patterson Real Estate specializes in the sale of residential property and operates with a sales team dedicated to constant training to ensure the highest standards of service and best practice.  Patterson Real Estate has grown from a husband and wife team to be the best known genuinely independent real estate agency in Port Macquarie.
